Bandai Namco has officially revealed Little Nightmares VR: Altered Echoes, a brand-new VR horror experience set in the disturbing universe fans know and love. The newly released reveal trailer gives us our first proper look at the game’s eerie atmosphere, twisted environments, and the unsettling feeling of stepping directly into the nightmare.
Unlike the mainline entries, Altered Echoes is built specifically for VR, which makes this one of the most intriguing expansions of the franchise yet. If the reveal trailer is anything to go by, players can expect the same signature Little Nightmares style — creepy sound design, surreal horror, and that constant sense of dread — but now from a far more immersive perspective.
According to Bandai Namco, Little Nightmares VR: Altered Echoes launches on April 24, 2026 for PlayStation VR2, SteamVR, and Meta Quest platforms, including standalone support for Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest 3.
For longtime fans of the series, this is a huge surprise and a bold new direction for the franchise. Whether you’re a VR horror fan or just curious to see how the twisted world of Little Nightmares translates into first-person immersion, this is definitely one to keep an eye on.
