Synopsis:

Three years after mysterious apex predators known as *Reapers* emerged from underground sinkholes and wiped out 95% of humanity, the survivors cling to life in high-altitude refuges above 8,000 feet — the only places the creatures cannot reach.

Will (Anthony Mackie), a single father living in Lost Gulch Refuge, struggles to keep his son Hunter alive as his oxygen filters dwindle. Joined by scientist Nina (Morena Baccarin) and friend Katie (Maddie Hasson), Will embarks on a perilous journey to Boulder, Colorado, hoping to retrieve supplies and uncover the Reapers’ weaknesses.

Armed with a prototype compass that detects Reaper bioelectromagnetic pulses, the trio descends into abandoned mines and ski lodges, facing relentless threats and unraveling the mystery of creatures that neither eat nor sleep. As they venture below the safety line, survival becomes a race against time — and elevation.
