LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight throws players into the brick-built shadows of Gotham City for a brand-new story-led action-adventure from TT Games and Warner Bros. Games. This time, the journey begins before the legend. Players follow Bruce Wayne’s rise from origin to icon, from his training with the League of Shadows to becoming the Dark Knight Gotham needs. As Batman, you’ll patrol an open-world LEGO Gotham packed with crime, secrets, puzzles, villains, vehicles, hidden rewards, and iconic locations from across the Batman universe. Blending cinematic superhero action with classic LEGO humour, Legacy of the Dark Knight brings together decades of Batman history from comics, films, television, and games. Players can master Batman’s combat, gadgets, detective skills, Batmobiles, and Batcycles while exploring famous Gotham locations including Arkham Asylum, Ace Chemicals, Wayne Tower, and more. The adventure also expands beyond Batman himself, with playable allies including Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, Jim Gordon, Catwoman, and Talia al Ghul. Together, they face some of Gotham’s most legendary villains, including The Joker, The Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, Ra’s al Ghul, Bane, and more. The game launches on May 22, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with Deluxe Edition early access beginning May 19, 2026. A Nintendo Switch 2 version is also confirmed for later in 2026, with the exact launch date still to be announced.
